In Daryl Gee’s first bodybuilding competition, the 2003 Contra Costa, held in Hayward, California, the 27-year old personal trainer may have surprised even himself when he took first place in the Novice Men's Lightweight Class and second place in the Unlimited Men's Lightweight Class. Having thus qualified for the Nationals, Daryl went on to make the kind of waves that only a gifted and disciplined newcomer can enjoy. What we did not know is how gifted he is in front of the camera.
