Ali was born in Iran and lives in Qatar. In 2001 Ali became the Asian IFBB Heavyweight Champion.We taped Heavyweight Ali right after he took the second place at the World Games 2005 in Duisburg, Germany, together with Kamal El Gargni, who also competed for Qatar as well.

Since that competition, Ali went on to win the
Up to 90 Kgs Class at the IFBB World Championships, held in China in November, 2005.
